THIS IS SO CUTE

An inexplicable series of works by avant garde typography artist Keira Rathbone.
After watching Grace Jones play live at the Wireless Festival in London’s Hyde Park in July 2011, Rathbone was so impressed (as was the rest of the crowd watching in awe at Jones’ incredible performance) that she was moved to immortalise the artist in type. She struggled to find one picture that depicted her more perfectly than the rest and whittled it down to 3 striking images. The three Graces – Charm, Beauty and Creativity, which together sum up Ms.Jones as a unique artist.
Rathbone typed this piece typed using her special c.1940′s Cyrillic ‘Mockba’ typewriter given to her in Moscow in 2009.I cannot urge you enough to check out the detailed shots featured here. If only they weren’t £100+ each (which is not to say there are not worth every damn penny) I would buy all three in a heartbeat. Fuck me.
